Who is Admin for my Company?READ ANSWER
Client companies identify and appoint their own Administrators to manage their Company profile, information and the entire process on Hi5. We recommend however that only Senior HR Staff be given this responsibility.
Can I change any details on my profile?READ ANSWER
Users are able to change only basic details of their profile on Hi5, such as uploading a profile image. Administrators however have full access to edit User information..
Who can view information about me?READ ANSWER
Users can only view their own information and those of the peers assigned to them (for reviews). Only Administrators are able to view everyone’s information.
What if I don’t want to be part of Hi5?READ ANSWER
Hi5 is a tool that Company’s use to help make regular peer reviews more fun, faster and simpler. It is up to the Client Company to decide which staff members will be assigned to the platform and Users therefor have to take their concerns up with their Employer.
Why do I have to review myself?READ ANSWER
Doing a personal review gives you the opportunity to objectively assess your performance and also to compare it to those reviews done by your peers. Personal Reviews are a valuable way of tracking your personal development.
I don’t agree with the Goals that have been created for me.READ ANSWER
Hi5 provides the platform while our Client Companies populate the framework with their own information. It is a User’s right to raise any dissatisfaction with the Goals loaded for him / her with their relevant Department Head.
Will the reviews I completed be saved before I’ve completed the entire Peer Review?READ ANSWER
In order to ensure the security and privacy of all Hi5 accounts and users, you cannot leave a review mid-way and come back again later and do it. If a review is interrupted and you have to return to it later, you will have to start from scratch.
Will the information in the Review be used against me if I rate someone low?READ ANSWER
Hi5 is a tool designed to help optimize staff performance, give insight into personal areas of excellence and also development needs and ultimately to help teams work better together. Low ratings are therefore not something to penalize, but rather serve as a sign-post to areas for improvement.
If I get low ratings from my Peers, will this be used on my formal job review?READ ANSWER
Scoring a consistent low rating from one’s peers would seem to indicate that there is room for personal growth on the identified measure. A more formal job review would do well to include the reviews done by Peers as a means of ensuring a fair and comprehensive Job Review.
Can I be fired for having low ratings on Hi5?READ ANSWER
Scoring a consistent low rating on Hi5 should not be sufficient reason for an Employee to be fired. However, it does indicate either that there is room for improvement or even room for concern. Accordingly, while a low rating on Hi5 should not lead to you being fired, it should raise the flag that something needs attention.
How can I be sure that no-one tampers with my reviews?READ ANSWER
Hi5 is a secure site. The only people with access to records and reviews are the identified Senior Level HR Managers or Directors within your Company.
Is there any benefit to me if I give someone a Hi5?READ ANSWER
Giving a Hi5 in itself does not directly benefit you, other than the fact that it shows that you are aware of effort above-and-beyond the call of duty. It is also likely that if you are willing to acknowledge the efforts of your colleagues that they will be willing to acknowledge your extra efforts. Don’t leave your peers hanging…
Is it possible to go back and edit a Peer Review once I’ve submitted it?READ ANSWER
Once a Peer Review has been submitted you cannot change it.
How do I delete my account?READ ANSWER
As a User, you cannot delete your account. Only Admin can delete accounts.
How long will the information stay in the system?READ ANSWER
Information loaded in Hi5 will remain securely in the system until such a time as the Client engages with Hi5, according to our formalized procedure, to commence with the deletion thereof. Any record deletion will be done within the framework of applicable legal stipulations and general practice.
Is there a limit to how many Users and Goals I can load?READ ANSWER
The Hi5 Plan that your Company has signed up for will determine how many users can be loaded on the Platform.

What is the standard Contract Period on Hi5?READ ANSWER
There is no contract period as such. Hi5 runs on a monthly renewable subscription basis.

Yes, you are able to migrate from one plan to the other fairly simply. Just contact the Hi5 Helpdesk to assist you.
